Global University in Tanzania, is a ministry of the Education Department of the Tanzania Assemblies of God. Global University Tanzania offers BA in Bible and Theology, Christian Education and Intercultural studies in collaboration with Global University.
All Tanzania Assemblies of God Bible colleges are Global University centers. The Bible colleges are Central Bible College - Dodoma, Global Harvest Bible College - Dar es Salaam, Lake Victoria Bible College - Mwanza, Northern Bible College - Arusha, South Eastern Bible College - Lindi, Southern Bible College - Mbeya and Western Bible College - Tabora.
Other major centers are Tanga Christian Bible College and Tazengwa Pentecostal Bible College - Nzega.
In 1967 the International Correspondence Institute (ICI) was formed under the Department of Foreign Missionary in the United States of America. The aim was to provide apprenticeship training, evangelism, work as well as undergraduate students around the world. ICI was transformed into a University formerly known as ICI University. In 2000 another institution called Berean University merged with ICI Univesity to become Global University.
